Many of you have seen our promotions for Community Groups beginning in January, 2012 and have been asking “What are Community Groups?” We’re so glad you asked because Community Groups are Fun, Exciting, Interesting and we believe Needed in all of our lives.
Why do we believe Community Groups are needed in all of our lives? I’m so glad you asked that question. Community Groups are needed because Life Is More Than Sundays! Our Sunday services are very important to the life of the church and our spiritual growth, but there is more to life than Sundays.
Community is a very important part our spiritual growth and development the word used in the Bible to describe community is the Greek word, “Koinonia” which speaks of people with common beliefs, interests, and convictions growing together in Christ.
Community Groups are an opportunity for spiritual growth which will be offered three times a year for eight to twelve weeks each. They will meet in various homes or other locations at different times of the week to give you the opportunity to choose the group that best fits your busy schedule and interest.
Community Groups will begin the week of February 5th with sign ups beginning in January, so listen out for more information and get ready for a life changing time of spiritual and personal growth.
